About the Designer
Hi, my name is Madeline Rosenthal and I live in Boca Raton, Florida. I started Maddie’s Jackets as a way to showcase my love for fashion design and use my artistic abilities to give back to my community. I paint all my jackets by hand, and create each design to be unique and one-of-a-kind. All my denim jackets are designed to be colorful and whimsical. Most importantly, I launched my business to be able to give profits to local charities in order to support their cause and give back to people in my community.
Helping the Community
All profits from jacket revenues will be donated to local charities and will also be used to purchase more jackets. This is to ensure I am able to have a constant supply of jackets to decorate and be able to continuously donate to charities in need. I have always tried my best to give back to my local community through community service. Painting these jackets combines my love for art and philanthropy to hopefully help improve the lives of many people and families within my community.
First Donation
I'm proud to announce that after selling several jackets, I was able to make my first donation to Boca Helping Hands. A non profit organization in South Florida that collects food items to be distributed to over 35,000 people in need, assists with paying for medical care and services, and many other related causes. They also host many fundraisers, to raise awareness for those in need within the community. I really like their mission and am thankful to be able to help in my small way.
I look forward to making more donations as I create and sell more jackets!
Next Donation
I'm happy to announce that after selling more jackets, I have decided to give another donation to Boca Helping Hands. While visiting, I was given a tour their warehouse and watched as cars lined up to donate to and receive food from their food bank. It was amazing to see the teamwork and effort it takes to organize the event, and how the community comes together to support their mission. I am so grateful to continue giving to this amazing organization, and I can’t wait to work with them more in the future, whether it be hands on or donating money to the cause.
